"Here's looking at you, kid"

Katie and I saw this advertisement for the film Casablanca showing at the Jean HUGO theater. We had just watched Casablanca before we left the states for France (thanks to a good friend of ours who is a big Humphrey Bogart and let us borrow it; thanks Derrick!) and thought it would be nice to see it again actually in France!! A bonus it was version originale sous-titre en français, meaning that it was in English with French subtitles. So we hopped on our bikes that we had gotten the day before and rode to town. Jean HUGO was an old style theater with a balcony, red cushioned seats, pillars, red curtains on the side of the movie screen and the movie projector was on of the old ones with two reels. Talk about stepping back in time.

We had a great time and waited the entire movie for the famous line at the end "We'll always have Paris." but alas the movie reel for some reason skipped over this famous part. Katie and I asked each other after the movie, "Isn't this the movie with that line???" oh well, I told Katie in my best Bogart, "We'll always have Bordeaux."
