Prague

Has it already been 8 months in France as Assistants??? Katie and I will finish our teaching jobs at the end of this week (on May 1st). Sadly, one adventure comes to an end but with every ending comes a new beginning! After saying goodbye to the kids, teachers and our good friends; we embark on another adventure with our homes in our backpack - rover, wanderer, nomad, vagabond, call us what you will. A few known stops along the way are Spain, Portugal then back to France to meet up with good friends and later my parents. Other countries on the possibility list are Croatia, back to Italy, Ireland and who knows where else. Our hope is to stay around France for the vendange (grape harvest) in August - November timeframe.

Donc, alors...I write this information above because most of the new posts to the blog will be more sporadic with more pictures and less writing. Some pictures might not make sense but rest assured, there is a some kind of story behind it. I hope to some day be able to come back to add these stories and comments.

Regarding this entry - After six full weeks of slaving away at work, we were rewarded with another two week vacation. Katie and I had never been to Eastern Europe so we thought we would hit some highlights: Prague in Czech Republic, Vienna in Austria, and Budapest in Hungary. Here is the first stop – 5 days in Prague.

Dinner and a place to stay at Hôtel Charles de Gaulle a.k.a. eating a picnic dinner at the airport and sleeping on the floor to catch a plane the next day.
